How does the RPL process work in commercial cookery and hospitality?

At Skills Certified Australia, we partner with RTOs to help simplify the process for RPL in commercial cookery and hospitality. We’ll give you a free skills check, and based on your experience and qualifications, we’ll assign a consultant to your case. Our consultant will walk you through the procedure. After we’ve established that you’re suitably skilled in the commercial cookery and hospitality industry, you’ll need to gather documentation to back this up. This can include evidence of various tasks performed on the job, answers to questions about your commercial cookery and hospitality experience and skills, practical tasks to demonstrate your skills, a resume, references, and a job description as supporting evidence. The proof you submit will be collated in a portfolio that you’ll present as evidence you’ve worked in the commercial cookery and hospitality industry for a reasonable amount of time and that you’re capable of doing related activities at a satisfactory level. Based on this evidence, we’ll connect you with one of our partner Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). An assessor from the RTO will review your portfolio.
