In this blog, we dive into some of what we have been up to, and where we look to go into the future.

NRL Magic Round Signage

Since its inception in 2007, the UK’s Rugby Super League has enjoyed terrific promotion when, in a single weekend, a slew of teams go head-to-head in a single stadium. Now, in 2019, Australian rugby fans have been treated to the same adrenaline-filled experience with the NRL’s own Magic Round held at Brisbane’s Suncorp stadium. All 16 teams played in the one round over the May 9th to 12th weekend, bring an almost festival like atmosphere to the occasion, and Skills Certified were proud partners, displaying our signage across the grounds. As avid rugby fans, we are thrilled to play whatever part we can in building the sport across the country.

Sydney Metro Bus Campaign

Sydney Metro is Australia’s largest public transport infrastructure project, and Skilled Certified are integral sponsors. We help provide buses throughout Sydney’s Northwest and Western Districts, assisting in making public transport a more viable option for countless commuters. Look out for the logo on your next commute!

Penrith Panthers Corporate Sponsor

With the likes of Jimmy Maloney, Nathan Cleary, and dad/coach Ivan Cleary at the helm, it’s little wonder that the Penrith Panthers are having another strong season in the NRL. But while the players, coaching staff and affiliated teams put in the hard yards on the field, it often takes more to keep a team thriving: it’s loyal fans and corporate sponsors. Skills Certified are both. We have been corporate sponsors for several years, doing all we can to ensure the longevity and prosperity of this mighty side, and vow to continue to do so into the future.

Affiliation Brand Ambassador Mathew Johns

Back in 2018, we were ecstatic to bring NRL legend Matty Johns on-board to be our affiliation brand ambassador. Matty was a pivotal five-eighth for the Newcastle Knights and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks between 1991 and 2002. Throughout that time, he had a myriad of highlights, such as representing Australia in the Rugby League World Cup, taking home the title in 1995, and being selected for the Kangaroos during the 1999 Rugby League Tri-Nations tournament, securing a 22-20 victory against a stellar New Zealand side. Since his retirement, Matty has continued to entertain fans, hosting a popular TV program on Fox Sports called the Matty Johns show and is the most trusted voice in the NRL.
